We're All Royalty Now

Over the past few years there has been an increase in the sales of designer wear. It seems more and more people today want fashion items. In the Middle Ages it was the royalty of the time who had the influence and dominated what we wore. Only the wealthy and upper element of society could dress in fashionable clothes. Ordinary people were unable to afford them. Certain materials and even colours were only allowed to be worn by the monarchs of the day.

Today there are no such restrictions regarding the cloth or the colours. Designer fashion is available to all via the shops, supermarkets, and increasingly the internet these days.
